Mindy Burns, MS, ATC/L, PES, CHES joined the Vanderbilt Sports Medicine staff in early December of 2006. She moved from Ft. Lauderdale, FL, where she spent nearly 5 years working as a clinic-outreach Athletic Trainer. Mindy earned her B.S. in Athletic Training from Indiana State University in 2002 followed by a M.S. in Exercise Science and Wellness from Florida Atlantic University in 2006. Mindy currently holds credentials as a National Academy of Sports Medicine-Performance Enhancement Specialist (NASM-PES), as well as a Certified Health Education Specialist. Mindy currently provides outreach coverage for McGavock High School.
