Purdy, MS, ATC/L, CSCS/CPT works at the Sports Medicine Center. Following 22 years in the Army as an airborne ranger, which included two Vietnam combat tours, John has been a certified athletic trainer for 27 years at the high school, university, NFL, and Olympic levels. In earlier days he ran 100 mile races, heard Janis Joplin and Louie Armstrong at the same concert and was the only man at an all girl college for a year. Today, he and his soul mate, Elaine, return frequently to Montana where they fly fish, share Moose Drool, and laugh a lot. email
