Julie
Neaderthal, PT has been a Physical Therapist at Vanderbilt since June
1992. She has a B.A. from Vanderbilt University and a B.S. in Physical Therapy
from Tennessee State University. Julie began her career at Vanderbilt as an
inpatient therapist; acute care, burn rehab, inpatient rehabilitation for spinal
cord injuries and inpatient orthopedic rehabilitation. She has been an Outpatient
Orthopedic Therapist since 1994 with a focus on general orthopedics and spine
rehabilitation. As a credentialed clinical instructor, Julie enjoys teaching
physical therapy students during their clinical rotations. Julie is married
to Bob Neaderthal, M.D., M.B.A., and they have two grown daughters. She is an
avid traveler, hiker and sailor. She and her husband sail their sailboat, Doc
Holiday, on Percy Priest Lake and charter sailboats around the U.S. and the
Caribbean whenever they can. Julie is also an active community volunteer for
several non-profit organizations.
