Matt
Yampolsky, ATC/L is an athletic trainer at the Sports
Medicine Center. Matt came to the Vanderbilt Orthopaedic Institute from South
Florida. Prior to coming to Vanderbilt, Matt worked as a physician extender
for an Orthopedic Clinic in Boca Raton, FL. Matt received his Master’s
degree in exercise science from Florida Atlantic University in 2004. While earning
his degree, he worked as a graduate assistant athletic trainer primarily assigned
to men’s basketball and men’s soccer. Prior to returning to school,
Matt served as the head athletic trainer at North Broward Sports Medicine in
Deerfield Beach, FL. While there, he provided outreach to area high school athletic
programs as well as treatment of patients in the outpatient orthopedic clinic.
Matt graduated from Western Michigan University in 1996 with a BS degree in
exercise science. He is a member of the National Athletic Trainer’s Association.
