VANDERBILT UNIVERSITY MEDICAL CENTER'S WEEKLY NEWSPAPER

Kim Halliburton
6/03/2005 - Kim Halliburton, director of Diagnostic Imaging at the Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt, has been named a Certified Radiology Administrator (CRA) by the Radiology Administration Certification Commission.
This high-level certification is held by less than 500 Radiology administrators nationwide. The CRA is the industry's first certification program for radiology administrators, and those who receive certification must first pass a rigorous CRA exam.
The American Healthcare Radiology Administrators group is a resource and catalyst for development of professional leadership in imaging sciences.
"We are extremely proud of Kim's leadership at Children's Hospital and her recognition as a Certified Radiology Administrator, said David Gregory, an administrative director at VCH.
This distinction is accomplished by only a select few in her field. I truly appreciate her efforts in improving care of our patients and her advanced credentialing further enhances this effort."
Halliburton joined Vanderbilt in 1989. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Imaging Technology at Belmont University and a Master of Arts in Organizational Management at Trevecca Nazarene University.
She serves on the Children's Hospital Management Council and is a member of the Children's Hospital Leadership Board.
