10/23/1998 - Two training sessions will be held next week for staff members who will be entering on the Campus Events Calendar on the Vanderbilt Home Page.
The classes will be held on Monday, Oct. 26, from 10 a.m.-11 a.m. and on Thursday, Oct. 29, from 1:30 p.m.-2:30 p.m. Both sessions will take place in Sarratt Center 118 and will be taught by university webmaster Jim Parker.

Ann Luther, a clinical nurse specialist and case manager for the Department of Otolaryngology, has been elected president-elect of the Society of Otorhinolaryngology Head and Neck Nurses by her nursing colleagues.
Her two-year term will begin Jan. 1, 2000.
Dr. Arthur C. Fleischer, professor of Radiology and Radiological Sciences, has won the Larry Mack Research Award from the Society of Radiologists in Ultrasound.
Fleischer's award was based on his study, "Quantified Tumor Vascularity and Flow using 3-D Color Power Doppler Sonography in an Animal Model.
Dr. Robert M. Kessler, professor of Radiology and Radiological Sciences, has been elected to the scientific council of the National Alliance for Research on Schizophrenia and Depression (NARSAD).
Kessler's selection to the 57-member council was based on his expertise in important sectors of NARSAD's research funding and expands the organizations capacity for grants review and policy in genetics, imaging, molecular biology and research.©2015 Vanderbilt University Medical Center
