CELL CYCLE REGULATION IN IMPLANTATION
Uterine decidualization involves the transformation of uterine stromal cells around the implanting blastocyst and includes regulated cell cycle activities, including endoreduplication and polyploidy. The following papers reflect one of the newest areas of research in our laboratories.
Tan J, Raja S, Davis MK, Tawfik O, Dey SK, Das SK.
Evidence for coordinated interaction of cyclin D3 with p21 and cdk6 in directing the development of uterine stromal cell decidualization and polyploidy during implantation.
