Welcome to the Vanderbilt University Medical Center Immunohistochemistry Core Laboratory! We are located in CC-2317 of Medical Center North. Our number is  322-3667. Please call us if you need directions.

The IHC Core Lab offers immunostaining and histology services for research investigators on a fee-for-service basis. The IHC Core staff has over 80 years of combined histology experience working with multiple animal species, including mouse, rat, rabbit, mole, reptile, monkey, dog, pig, fish, as well as human.

Services provided are cost-effective, quality-controlled and customized, maximizing research dollars.

Our servcies include:

Automated immunostaining services and antisera optimization

Tissue processing and paraffin embedding

Paraffin and frozen sectioning

Staining services including a variety of special stains

NEW! DNA In situ hybridization

Gen Point HPV DNA-   Identifies thirteen HPV genotypes including 16, 18, 31, 33, 35, 39, 45, 52, 56, 58, 59 and 68.
