Anesthesia Opportunities

Sign up for a blue sheet elective.  This is an excellent opportunity to observe and participate in the anesthesiology care of patients in a wide assortment of perioperative settings. In addition to participating actively in the care of patients at the bedside, the student will learn practical skills such as airway management, monitoring and obtaining IV access.

Spend a few days shadowing an anesthesiologist through Careers in Medicine.
