How to Apply

To apply to the Vanderbilt University Multidisciplinary Pain Medicine Fellowship, please complete the Application for Training. Please also provide:

  • Transcript from medical school
  •  Transcripts of USMLE/NBME scores
  • CV
  • Dean’s Letter and 3 additional letters of recommendation
  • Official licensure verification from all states in which you have been or are currently licensed
  • Current Photo
  • Written explanation of any gaps in training, greater than one month, since graduation from medical school
  • ECFMG certificate (if applicable)

Note: Prior to matriculation, all fellows will be required to provide a certificate of completion from an ACGME-accredited residency.

***All Fellowship positions for the 2015-2016 academic year have been filled.***

We will be accepting applications for 3 open positions for the 2017-2018 academic year beginning on January 1, 2016 and continuing through Mar 15, 2016. Interviews will take place between April and June.  We will be participating in the NRMP Match program for the 2017-2018 academic year. If you wish to apply for the Vanderbilt Pain Medcine Fellows' Program, download and complete our application and send it in as directed beginning January 1, 2016. Then, visit the NRMP Match website at http://www.nrmp.org and click on the "Fellowship Timeline" button and follow the prompts to register for a match. There will be a nominal fee charged by the NRMP Match organization for registering your application. Be sure to read, complete, and send all of your application materials to Rebecca Stadler beginning 1/1/2016. If you have any questions, contact rebecca.l.stadler@vanderbilt.edu.
