Department of Anesthesiology

T32 Application Process

Qualified candidates must have earned an MD degree or equivalent and must have completed residency. While the fellowship is primarily designed for anesthesiologists interested in becoming physician scientists, applicants from other medical fields with an interest in perioperative science are also welcome to apply. The program recognizes a compelling need to promote diversity in the clinical workforce and therefore we encourage applications from women, underrepresented minority physicians, and persons with disabilities.

Applications will be considered until positions are filled. We are seeking one trainee immediately to fill an open training spot, as well as two additional trainees to start July 01, 2015. Applications for July 2015 should be received by January 01, 2015.

How to apply

Applications should include a cover letter, curriculum vitae, the names and contact information of two references, and a brief description of the applicant’s research interests. Mail applications to the Vanderbilt University Department of Anesthesiology – Research Division, Training in Perioperative Science, T-4202 Medical Center North, 1161 21st Avenue South, Nashville, TN 37232-2520 USA or e-mailed to: eric.delpire@vanderbilt.edu.
