Pop-up Blocker Information

Pop-up Blockers installed with Windows XP Security Update  SP2 will by default blocks all pop-ups. In order for CORES Order Entry receipts to be printed, pop-ups must be allowed for CORES as follows:  

For Windows XP SP2 Pop-up Blocker:
 

  • In Internet Explorer, select "Tools > Pop-up Blocker > Pop-up Blocker Settings..." from the menu.
  • In the window that appears, enter "cfuis.mc.vanderbilt.edu" into the "Address of Web site to allow:" field.
  • Click the "Add" button to add the CORES web site to the list of sites that are allowed to create pop-ups.
  • Click the "Close" button to close the settings screen.

     

Most of the other available pop-up blocking applications have similar steps that allow pop-ups for a given site.  All Core Managers MUST ensure that CORES enabled to allow pop-up windows.


 
Troubleshooting Printing Problems

If you are unable to print invoices try the following:

  • Go to http://www.meadroid.com/scriptx/support/userlink.asp
  • Select the Automatic Continue button
  • After a few seconds, you will likely receive an Information Bar indicating to Click here to install.
  • Right Click on the Information Bar and select Install ActiveX Control from the popup menu.
  • Click the Install on the next dialog
  • Close the browser window (and all others) when the message appears to do so.
  • Retry Non-VUMC Invoices.
