Dietetic Internship


 

    

The Dietetic Internship Program at Vanderbilt University Medical Center began in 1929. Our program is one of the oldest and most well established programs in the nation.  We have trained 1000+ future dietitians to become leaders and difference makers in the areas of food and nutrition.  Over the past five years, 98% of Vanderbilt's Dietetic Internship graduates have successfully completed the registration examination on their first attempt.

Our current class of interns begins on August 18, 2014 and will graduate on June 22, 2015.

Mission of the Dietetic Internship Program
The Vanderbilt University Medical Center Dietetic Internship will provide a pre-eminent supervised practice program that is an excellent model for the preparation of knowledgeable, talented and compassionate entry level dietitians delivering high quality nutrition therapy in the hospital and innovative nutrition programming within community based systems and networks.
