Background
Dr. Kuchtey joined the faculty of the Vanderbilt Eye Institute after completing her ophthalmology residency and glaucoma fellowship training at the Cole Eye Institute of the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. She specializes in screening, diagnosis and management of different forms of glaucoma. Dr. Kuchtey performs laser procedures, glaucoma surgery as well as cataract surgery, using state-of-art technology. Most importantly, Dr. Kuchtey is beloved by her patients both because of her caring nature and the top quality of care she provides. In addition to her clinical duties, Dr. Kuchtey is the principle investigator of a glaucoma research laboratory and has authored numerous peer-reviewed articles and book chapters.
