Marla Carter, RN, BSN

Marla Carter joined the Innovation Integration Center on February 1, 2011 as a Project Manager.  Prior to joining our team, Marla worked for over 5 years on the VMG EMR team and supported clinical applications in the Primary Care and GI clinic, and, in 2007 joined the Heart Institute as a dedicated clinical support specialist.  

Marla's focus is assisting the organization in creating new innovations and managing projects that will improve the experiences of patients and staff members and enhance the strategies of VMG.  Marla is currently leading all the project initiatives for Excellence in Documentation.
