Cynthia W. Cyrus, RN

Cynthia Cyrus joined the Innovation Integration Center in January 2011 as a Project Manager.  Prior to joining the department, Cynthia was a Charge Nurse for Radiology Recovery in Monroe Carrel Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt.  During her role as Charge Nurse, she was involved with projects that concentrated on clinic redesign, patient safety, access and efficiency.  After more than twenty years of nursing, Cynthia made a career change in March of 2009 as a Clinical Operations Engineer with the VMG Performance Improvement Office.  During this time she participated in many process improvement initiatives focusing on patient access and telephone nurse triage standards.

Cynthia's focus is assisting the organization in creating new innovations and managing projects that will improve the experiences of patients and staff members and enhance the strategies of VMG.  Cynthia is currently leading all the project initiatives for Systems Access Management.
