Jim Jirjis, MD, MBA

Dr. Jim Jirjis, is the Chief Medical Informatics Officer (CMIO) and Director of the Innovation Integration Team.  Dr. Jirjis has been leading development of operations/informatics projects for the last ten years, including leading development of MyHealthatVanderbilt, message baskets, StarPanel, and the provider communication wizard among other projects.

Dr. Jirjis is providing the strategic direction for the entire team to achieve excellence across all the projects supporting the Innovation Integration Thematic Strategy: Care Coordination, Excellence in Patient and Caregiver Engagement, Encounter Management, Excellence in Order Management, Excellence in Documentation, Excellence in Medication Management, Excellence in Communication, and Excellence in Systems Access Management.
