Wendy Kiepek, RN, MSHI, PMP

Wendy Kiepek is the Manager of the Innovation Integration Team and oversees the daily operations of the team.  Wendy joined the Vanderbilt Medical Group in November 2010 after working in the Informatics Center since 2000.  Wendy is responsible for supporting the development of information system innovations that assist the provider team, patients, and caregivers in the delivery of patient care.   With Wendy’s background in nursing and her formal Masters Degree in Health Informatics, she is able to represent the needs and requirements of the wider outpatient clinical community.  Wendy works in collaboration with nursing leadership, clinical departments, CMIOs, and Informatics in identifying emerging opportunities and innovative solutions to clinical problems.   

Wendy is leading the ADVANCE (Advancement in Documentation Tools Valuable for Assessment in Nursing Clinical Excellence) project.
