Combining Management with Building Orders (COMBO)
Project Description: Combo is a holistic Informatics solution designed to address current clinical workflow challenges as well as new “opportunities” being presented with Meaningful Use and ICD-10 initiatives. This tool will reduce the time it takes VUMC providers to; (1) order prescriptions and diagnostic tests, (2) document the Assessment & Plan, (3) manage patient Problems and Medication lists, (4) submit billing information for visits (i.e.- an electronic equivalent of the “blue Sheet”), and (5) generate the Clinical Summary.
