Recycling in Light Hall

Where are the bins located?

Thanks to the support of the administration, we were able to add bins this summer to all classrooms and labs in Light Hall.  There are still bins located at the ends of the hall way as well.  If you would like to request a bin for your lab, please contact Brian Drolet, brian.c.drolet@vanderbilt.edu, or David Leiman, david.leiman@vanderbilt.edu

How can you help?

  • RECYCLE!!!!!!!  So many people put recyclable goods in the trash cans right next to the recycling bins.
  • Place:
    • ALUMINUM and PLASTIC (#1 and #2) go in the SAME BIN
    • MIXED PAPER in the correctly labeled recycling bins.
  • Make sure all of the aluminum cans are EMPTY before disposing of them in the bins.
  • DO NOT PUT TRASH OR FOOD in the recycling bins.
  • Bring recylable goods from your work space to Light Hall to be recycled.
  • Tell your friends and colleagues about the recycling resources in Light Hall.
  • Bring your recycling waste to the end of the hall and put in large collecting bins
