Vanderbilt Medical Center has implemented a workers' compensation access system to effectively respond to the needs of the workers' compensation community. Vanderbilt Corporate Health Services serves as the single point of access for the workers' compensation needs for area employers, case managers, and adjustors.  In addition, a 'preferred' list of Vanderbilt providers available in numerous specialties (see "Physician Biographies") was developed to serve the workers' compensation community..

To receive the greatest benefit from our system, please call the number(s) above to reach one of our four dedicated Workers' Compensation Division Team members. They can assist you with:

  • Recommending the providers best-suited for your injured employee
  • Setting timely appointments and providing you with letters of confirmation
  • Setting up free interpretation service for initial appointment
  • Obtaining medical records and impairment rating results
  • Providing assistance with billing and return to work questions
  • Follow through to employers on all workers' comp patients who utilize our emergency room
