Vanderbilt Institute for Obesity & Metabolism

The Nashville Collaborative is a unique partnership between Vanderbilt's Department of Pediatrics at the Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital and Metro Parks and Recreation to decrease pediatric obesity and its health consequences through family-based, community centered programs. It lives inside the newly renovated Coleman Community Center, a full service recreation center that also serves as a place to gather for the community.
