During the 2010 legislative session, the Tennessee Obesity Taskforce supported policy efforts in the following areas:

  • Coordinated School Health - fully fund
  • Physical Activity/Physical Education in Schools
  • Healthy Foods and Beverages in Schools
  • Food Desert Relief
  • Soda Tax - reallocate funds to support childhood obesity
  • Children's Outdoor Bill of Rights
