We provide professional video services to many parts of the VUMC community. We work with many of the market’s top video vendors as well as internal resources. Our services include:

Procedures
Whether your project is a simple short web video or a long-form TV special, our procedure for filling your needs is the same. We use consistent elements to brand your project as a product of Vanderbilt.

Here's how the process works:

• Preliminary meeting: Discuss needs and ideas, budget and timeframe
• Job quoted and approval for work obtained
• Media producer/director works with client’s representative to book all talent, reserve rooms, get permissions and notify News & Communications of on-campus videotaping
• First draft scripts written and approved
• Video shot
• First draft to client
• Revisions received and made
• Final editing with audio mixed

Distribution
Once your project is done, we can help you post your new video via social media outlets such as Facebook, Twitter or YouTube. Our social media team will work with you to distribute your video through official Vanderbilt accounts.

Costs
All projects are quoted on a case-by-case basis. These costs are estimated by pricing total shooting time, staff time, editing time and cost for any needed graphics and/or animations.
