Whether you're looking for an existing image of the Medical Center or would like a portrait made, University Photography Services can help. If you'd like to request a photographer or a photo shoot, click here. For existing images or other questions, contact (615) 322-2183 or email photo@vanderbilt.edu.

Spotlight Digital Displays

We can create dynamic content for the digital display boards throughout the medical center. If the material is not time-sensitive, it usually remains on the boards for 3 months. Email design@vanderbilt.edu to get started.

All stationery requests should go through Vanderbilt Printing Services. Orders may be placed on their website.

The templates on the Vanderbilt Printing site are the only official stationery templates for Vanderbilt University and Medical Center.

Electronic templates are also available through Vanderbilt Printing. These are to be used for emailing only and not for printing on desktop or other printers.

For those who work in mainly academic/research areas and do not see patients, order the School of Medicine or School of Nursing stationery. Everyone else should order VUMC stationery.

We help facilitate professional video for many parts of the VUMC community. We work with several excellent video resources in the Nashville area.

  • Shooting video (all formats)
  • Video editing
  • Script writing
  • Video animation
  • Video graphics
  • Distribution
  • Dubs and DVD copies

Whether your project is a simple short web video or a long-form TV special, our procedure for filling your needs is the same. Consistent brand elements are used to brand your project as a product of Vanderbilt.

Here's how the process works:

  • Preliminary meeting: Discuss needs and ideas, budget and timeframe
  • Job quoted and approval for work obtained
  • Book all talent, reserve rooms, get permissions and notify News & Communications of on-campus videotaping
  • First draft scripts written and approved
  • Video shot
  • First draft to client
  • Revisions received and made
  • Final editing with audio mixed

If you would like to use the video on an official Vanderbilt website or social channel such as YouTube, send it to us for review before it's finalized. We want to be sure it carries the appropriate brand sensibility. Send a review link to the content team.

Once your project is finished, we can help you post your new video via social media outlets such as Facebook, Twitter or YouTube. Our social media team will work with you to distribute your video through official Vanderbilt accounts.

Web Banner Announcements

If you would like to put an announcement on the Medical Center homepage, you've come to the right place. We'll design it for you and run it for seven days (longer if there is space). We'll need to know a couple of weeks ahead of time to be sure the space is available because we are limited to five announcements at a time. Email design@vanderbilt.edu to make a request.
