Vascular Surgery

The Division of Vascular Surgery at Vanderbilt University Medical Center is composed of vascular specialists exclusively managing vascular disease. The faculty in the Division of Vascular Surgery not only manage all of the vascular needs of Vanderbilt University Hospital but also that of the Nashville VA Hospital which is adjacent to the University Medical Center. The vascular experience in the Division of Vascular Surgery is approximately 800 inpatients per year which includes approximately 400 major vascular reconstructions per year. Five thousand (5,000) outpatients are evaluated on an annual basis. In addition, the Vanderbilt University Vascular Laboratory is solely the responsibility of the Division of Vascular Surgery. This constitutes an additional 4,000 visits per year with a complete non-invasive vascular service involving cerebral, peripheral and visceral artery evaluations.

Thomas C. Naslund, MD, is Professor of Surgery and Chief of the Vanderbilt Division of Vascular Surgery.

Martina Hailey is the Administrative Assistant for the Division.
