We coordinate diagnosis and treatment procedures with Vanderbilt gastroenterologists, endoscopists, and the cancer experts at the Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center. This team approach achieves the greatest continuity and highest standard of care. They specialize in both open and laparoscopic (minimally invasive) procedures for diseases of the colon, rectum, and anus. When proper diagnosis indicates that colon or rectal surgery will provide the best outcome for their patients, they will gladly discuss all surgical options and help you decide what is best for you or your patient.

Faculty: Fellowship-trained specialists providing the latest effective treatment methods including minimally invasive procedures (laparoscopy) to  reduce the length of your hospital stay and speed your recovery.  We also perform traditional open procedures. Our surgeons are board-certified by the American Board of Surgery and board-certified by the American Board of Colon and Rectal Surgery.

Staff: Dedicated nurses, technicians, and nurse practitioners who assist the surgeons to coordinate each phase of your individualized treatment plan and return you to an active, healthy life.
