Externship Opportunity

Junior dental students can participate in a 2-4 week externship offering in-depth exposure to clinical oral and maxillofacial surgery. This opportunity provides specific involvement in weekly conferences, journal club, and outpatient clinics, emergency department and operating room activities. It requires student participation in all didactic and clinical activities in a busy, university-hospital based residency program.  In-house accommodations will be provided. There is no formal application process; however, two letters of recommendation from dental school faculty confirming a student’s good standing in dental school and undergraduate transcripts are required. Space is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
