Jasleen received her Bachelor of Dental Surgery in India and her Doctor of Dental Surgery at the University of Illinois at Chicago. She practiced general dentistry in Illinois and Florida before starting the Orthodontic Residency Program at Vanderbilt. Jasleen is eager to make a difference in her patient's lives. She and her husband like to travel and spend time outdoors in their free time.
Dan is originally from Spokane, Washington. He received both his undergraduate and dental school degrees from the University of Washington in Seattle. Prior to starting the Orthodontic Residency Program at Vanderbilt, Dan worked as a general dentist in a private practice and a community health clinic in the Puget Sound region. He enjoys being active – golf, running and skiing, whenever he can get the opportunity. Dan plans to practice orthodontics in the Northwest in the future, but loves the new adventure and experience of living in Nashville, Tennessee.
Rob is from Provo, Utah. He obtained his undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of Cincinnati prior to attending dental school at Harvard University. Rob spent the last five years practicing general dentistry in Cincinnati, where he plans to return after completing his Orthodontic Residency at Vanderbilt. He and his wife have been married for 12 years and have five children: Jordan (11), Madison (9), Ashley (7), Walker (6) and Cannon (4). Rob’s motto is “Work hard and play hard.” He enjoys cycling, hunting and traveling with his family.
Andy grew up in Roanoke, Virginia and attended Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of North Carolina School of Dentistry. From there he completed a General Practice Residency at the University of Colorado, School of Dental Medicine and immediately joined the faculty as an assistant professor. After teaching for a couple of years, Andy practiced general dentistry in a family practice in Denver, Colorado. He and his wife, Pattie, love spending time outdoors, especially hiking, camping, and skiing, and are thrilled to be in Nashville. Andy is excited to complete his training in orthodontics at Vanderbilt and looks forward to working with his patients to improve their smiles.
Meg is an Atlanta native. She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Georgia and earned her dental degree from Medical College of Georgia. Meg practiced general dentistry in Franklin, Tennessee prior to starting the residency program. She enjoys getting to know her patients and strives to give them the best care possible. Meg loves living in Nashville and likes spending her free time with her husband, family, and friends.
Sonia is from Rochester Hills, MI. She attended Michigan State University where she majored in Physiology. After college, she moved to Philadelphia where she earned her DMD from University of Pennsylvania. From there, she moved to New York City where she did a General Practice Residency at Montefiore Medical Center. In her leisure time she enjoys practicing yoga, travelling and exploring Nashville. Throughout her career Sonia has aspired to train in Orthodontics and is enjoying residency at Vanderbilt.
Josh is from Taylor, Arizona. He spent two years in Asuncion, Paraguay on a mission representing the Church of Jesus Chris of Latter-Day Saints. He then earned a degree in Biology from Brigham-Young University and then his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the Ostrow School of Dentistry at the University of Southern California. Josh then joined USC as a part-time faculty member and also practiced general dentistry in Los Angeles, CA. Josh loves spending time with his wife, Jamie, and their three children, Zoie, Zack, and Luke. He also enjoys doing anything outdoors, especially surfing, snoboarding, soccer, and baseball. His number on priority is to help each patient feel comfortable and to create and maintain beautiful, healthy smiles.
Kristin is from Palos Verdes, CA. She attended the University of California at San Diego and majored in Biology and Cognitive Science. She then earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of California at San Francisco. She enjoys traveling, skiing, cooking, and spending time with family and friends. Her motto is "don't complain, show no pain, and keep up." Kristin is very excited to complete her training at Vanderbilt and loves living in Nashville. She looks forward to a career in Orthodontics and plans to return to Southern California to practice.
