The Section of Surgical Sciences is comprised of devoted full-time faculty, as well as clinical and research faculty and staff, whose tireless efforts set new standards in innovative practice, evidence-based care and ground-breaking research. From transplantation to trauma, surgical oncology to hybrid cardiac surgery, and pediatric surgical services to laparoscopic minimally-invasive surgeries, the departments of the Section are varied and diverse, yet are united by a common commitment to enrich the patient’s quality of life and the resident’s educational experience.
