The Section of Surgical Sciences

This area supports the General Surgery Residency program by assisting in applicant interview and selection; new resident orientation; scheduling, presentations and equipment procurement for resident activities, such as frequent skills labs, poster printing, etc; preparation of Morbidity and Mortality Improvement (M&MI) reports; Grand Rounds, Resident Teaching conference and Bonus conference management.  Education Support also provides oversight to medical students studying surgical sciences.
