About EVS
The Environmental Services Department at Vanderbilt University Medical Center understands that this institution called "Vanderbilt," is a place that is not only unique and special in its own right, but carries with it a responsibility to offer only the very BEST in quality education and healthcare services.
That being said, our EVS Team has as its primary goal to provide our patients and colleagues an environment that is sanitary, safe, and maintained at the highest level of quality on a 24/7 (daily) basis. We also have a secondary goal, which is just as important as goal #1; to work in a way that supports the VUMC Credo and builds a high degree of confidence throughout the hospital campus. We consider ourselves to be the BEST EVS department in healthcare!
Historically, EVS has done a good job for Vanderbilt University Medical Center. But that was not good enough for us. So in response to our historical quality standards, we began a new "Campaign toward Excellence," which has raised the bar on quality and service throughout the medical center. This new campaign will take us to new heights and set a new trend that we hope will catch on in all service-related departments.
We are excited to have the opportunity to serve our constituents, and we welcome any feedback that will help us grow our ability to make excellent patient care #1 for VUMC. We consider ourselves trendsetters and pathfinders. But, we cannot do it alone. We depend upon and welcome your feedback.
