Lectures and Conferences

Didactic lectures take place Monday through Thursday at 7am in the Elliott Conference Room. 

Ophthalmology Grand Rounds (GR) are held every Friday from 7 to 8am. Two Cases are presented each Friday.  To view some of Vanderbilt Eye Institute's Grand Rounds, please click here.

Joint conferences are held in conjunction with the departments of radiology and pathology.

Other departmental conferences include:

• Cornea and External Disease Conference
   
• Surgical Case Conference - Residents share videos from their most interesting cases.
   
• VA Case Conference - Residents on the VA service will be meeting once per month to discuss interesting clinical cases.
   
• Morning Report - Residents and faculty meet informally to present and discuss interesting cases from call.
