Cell Sorters

We are fortunate to have two BD FACSAria III instruments that are  state-of-the-art, custom cell sorters capable of sorting cells at a high rate with excellent purity and recovery.  These digital instruments are configured with 405 nm, 445 nm, 488 nm, 561 nm and 633 nm lasers to run as many as ten different fluorochromes simultaneously.  The FACSAria III platform was actually beta-tested primarily at Vanderbilt in our lab so we are proud of our role in the development of the premier cell sorting platform available to researchers worldwide today (related application note).  Investigators may select up to four different gated populations and sort simultaneously.   We excel in sorting delicate and challenging cells from any source and are experts in optimizing sorting parameters for each individual sample.   Please contact core personnel with questions or to schedule a sort.
