VUMC Telephone Use
To dial on campus phones use last five digits of number only. Campus extensions begin with a 1, 2, 3, or 6. If you are dialing from off-campus but only have the five-digit extension:
- If the last five digits are 1-XXXX, the number is actually 421-XXXX
- If the last five digits are 2-XXXX, the number is actually 322-XXXX
- If the last five digits are 3-XXXX, the number is actually 343-XXXX
- If the last five digits are 6-XXXX, the number is actually 936-XXXX
VUMC to/from VAMC is slightly different:
- VUMC to VAMC main number: 9-327-4751
- VUMC to VAMC if you know the extension: 9-873-XXXX
