Critical information and real time notifications

VUMC LabAlert rapidly sends messages to subscribers via cell phone (voice or text), land line, or email in the event of critical system outages. Examples include planned or unplanned power, water, or HVAC outages.

About VUMC LabAlert

VUMC LabAlert is Vanderbilt University Medical Center’s critical information notification system for research. It is available to Medical Center faculty and staff on a voluntary, opt-in basis. Subscribers may enter as many devices as they wish and specify their preferred method of notification. Subscribers may chose to receive alerts by type and building name. The five alert types are unplanned/emergency utility outages, planned utility outages, unplanned network outages, planned network outages, and animal care.
