Medical Center Staff Advisory Council

The Medical Center Staff Advisory Council (MCSAC) represents all full and part-time, exempt and non-exempt non-faculty employees of Vanderbilt University Medical Center. As an advisory group, the Council works to bridge gaps, facilitate communication between staff and administration, and improve all facets of the work-place environment at VUMC.

The Council also serves as a philanthropic organization to the Vanderbilt community through an annual fundraiser.

The Council is comprised of Medical Center staff that serve as representatives, alternates, and Council officers. The Council has been instrumental in bringing about positive institutional and employment changes which richly affect the lives of staff at Vanderbilt. The Council is supported by administration and is viewed as an essential component of this institution.

Council meeting times may vary but times and agendas will be sent out prior to the meetings. The meetings are educational in nature and are open to all staff served by the Council. Staff are encouraged to utilize the Council as a mechanism for the exchange of information among staff and between staff and administration.
