MTA/VU Free Ride To Work Program

All full time Vanderbilt employees, nurse & medical students and VUMC volunteers are eligible to ride free to and from work by simply swiping their I.D. cards upon entering a bus. The I.D. can be used "only" for rides to and from work. Contractors and ex-employees are not eligible.  Parking discounts are available for days you must drive to work. Free Parking is available at Lot 127 and Single Day Hangtags can be purchased.  Bus route and schedule information is available at www.nashvillemta.org or by calling (615) 862-5950.

Vanderbilt faculty and staff who ride the MTA buses or Music City Star now have a faster way to receive up-to-date bus information. RouteShout, a mobile phone application that delivers next bus arrival times, is now available for customers to receive MTA schedule information. Riders with iPhone or Android phones can download RouteShout for free via application stores. Any other mobile phone user can access RouteShout through the mobile Web site.
