RTA Express Bus Discount

All VUMC employees, medical students and volunteers can now purchase a 20-Ride Pass for the Murfreesboro/ Smyrna RTA Express Bus discounted from $70.00 to $47.00.

This will reduce the cost per one way trip to $2.35, verses $3.50 (regular pass price/ ride).Single tickets will not be sold by VUMC. 20-Ride Passes are non-refundable and non-transferable.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: Although this route is currently serviced by MTA equipment (under RTA contract), the MTA/VU “Free Ride to Work Program” does not apply to this route. Vanderbilt I.D. badge swipes will not be honored for boardings on Route #96.
