Event Planning Outline

There can be many factors involved in meetings and events, but almost all events have these common elements:

We provide full service meeting and event planning to any Medical Center Department.  The cost for the use of our services is a 15% administrative fee based on expenses.

Things to Consider When Planning An Event or Working With a Meeting Planner

 
Purpose of Event

  • Who is it for and why?
  • When will it be held and at what time?

 
Location

  • On Campus or Off Campus?
  • At a private home or public venue?

 
Guest List and Invitations

  • How many total people will be invited?
  • Will the invited people be allowed to bring a guest?
  • Is there a fee for this event
  • How will guests be invited?
    •  Mail, Email or Advertising?
  • How will you keep track of guest responses?

Is this a social event or a business event/meeting?
Will food be served?  What meal type?
Will Audio Visual services be required?
Will flowers or other decorations be used?
