Amanda Cupples, BA


Amanda is a Program Coordinator in Nursing Education and Professional Development, where she works with Vanderbilt’s Magnet Designation, VUMC Acute Care Nursing Residents, Hands On Clinical Safety, CAVE, and E3 Mentoring Program; serves as a Learning Exchange Super User; and assists with Basic Arrhythmia Classes, Testing and Remediation.

Prior to coming to Vanderbilt in May 2010, Amanda spent 12 years working in a variety of industries, serving as an Executive Assistant, Sales and Marketing Assistant, and a Ministry Assistant.  She received her BA in both Psychology and English with a Creative Writing emphasis from Carson-Newman College.

Outside of work, she loves being a wife to her husband, Brian, and a mom to her daughter, Ann Catherine, and son, Will.  After spending 8 years in South Korea, she developed her love of travelling and has been able to visit places such as Hong Kong, Japan, and Okinawa.  In her spare time, she also enjoys reading, cooking and planning her family’s next vacation.
