Galyn Glick Martin, BS
As a program coordinator, Galyn has worked in Nursing Education and Professional Development since November 2008. She enjoys the opportunities to help new nurses transition into their careers through the Nurse Residency Program and to assist experienced nurses in developing as preceptors. Prior to working at VUMC, she had experience planning events for the Robert Penn Warren Center for the Humanities at Vanderbilt, and in developing programming for the Southern Festival of Books. She is a skilled writer and worked as an editor at the “Nashville Scene.” In addition to maintaining the nurse residency and preceptor websites, she manages the social media for the nurse residency program. Galyn earned a B.S. in Liberal Studies from MTSU.
She is married to Scott and has two daughters.
