Ann Johnson, MSN, RN

Ann brings 18 years of pediatric critical care experience to our NE&PD department.  She has also spent six additional years as a Clinical Education Facilitator for the VUH NE&PD department.  She obtained her BSN from Vanderbilt University School of Nursing and her MSN as a Pediatric CNS from the University of Kansas.  Her PICU and Peds ED experience is from three different facilities from DC, KC, and Tennessee.  She has been a staff nurse, charge nurse, code blue/trauma team member, preceptor of new staff and students, clinical instructor for VUSN and KU, a CVS CNS, and PICU Educator.  She has also held PALS, BLS, and EOR instructor certifications.  She is excited to be returning to the Children’s Hospital for the third time in her career!

Ann was born and raised in Shelbyville, TN.  She loves to garden and peruse antique shops.  She also loves the outdoors, especially Colorado and Florida.  Ann is married to Scott and has two great kids, Emily and Elliot.  They are Commodores, Titans, and Cardinals fans!
