The Vanderbilt Brain Institute provides access to multiple resources at Vanderbilt to aid Investigators in their research goals.

Laboratory for Neurobehavior

provides fundamental behavior testing services, training and consultation regarding analysis of behavioral phenotypes in mutant mice and rats.

Neurochemistry Core

performs assays of neurotransmitter concentrations in brain tissue, designs custom assays as well as provides training in HPLC methods.

Neural Cell Imaging and Histology

provides equipment, training, methods and protocols for imaging and histology techniques.

Shared Equipment

includes instrumentation such as centrifuges, shaker incubators, scintillation counters, cell culture hood, microscopy, etc., distributed over three floors of MRB III (6, 7 and 8).
