Dr. Aaronson is the Medical Director of Vanderbilt Spine Center. His clinical interests include surgery of the spine with emphasis on minimally invasive techniques, degenerative spinal disorders such as disc herniations and spinal stenosis, complex spinal reconstruction and spinal tumors. He is listed in the Consumers' Research Council's Guide to America's Top Surgeons and has received the Five Star Excellence Award for Patient Satisfaction.
Dr. Aaronson completed his undergraduate studies with First Class Honors at the University of London, Kings College. He obtained his medical degree at the University of London, St. Bartholomew's Hospital in 1997. He has completed a Masters of Management in Healthcare degree at Vanderbilt's Owen Graduate School of Management where he received the Dean's Award.
Dr. Aaronson completed his Internship in General Surgery and his Residency in Neurosurgery at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

Outcome studies that determine the effectiveness of non-operative and operative treatment of spinal disorders.
