Dr.Camalier's clinical interest is stimulation target localization (via microelectrode mapping and electrostimulation) for the treatment of movement disorders using deep brain stimulation. Research interests are to better understand the involvement of these deep brain stimulation targets (e.g. basal ganglia, thalamus) in non-motor processes such as emotion, memory and other components of human cognition.
