Department of Neurological Surgery

JASON E. AGRAN, MD (2010), PhD (2007), graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign after completing this institution's Medical Scholars Program. He also completed a postdoctoral research fellowship at the Beckman Institute of Advanced Science and Technology during 2008-2009.  Dr. Agran's research interests include Human-Computer Interaction, further characterization of the neural mechanisms underlying attention and memory, and the development of functional mapping/networking tools.   He began his residency in July 2010 and is scheduled to graduate in June 2017. 

Outside of neurosurgery, Jason’s interests include music composition, martial arts, and trail running.
