BRANDON J. DAVIS, MD, PhD, was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, and grew up in Atlanta, GA. He graduated from Xavier University of Louisiana majoring in Biology and Chemistry. Upon graduation he entered into the MD, PhD Medical Scientist Training Program at the University of California, San Francisco. His dissertation focused on Blood Brain Barrier cellular biology and physiology following hypoxia, under the guidance of Dr. Donna Ferriero. Dr. Davis has continued interest in adult and pediatric neurovascular disease and has completed an infolded endovascular neurosurgery fellowship under the guidance of Dr. Robert Singer and Dr. J Mocco. He also has significant interest in global health, participating in medical missions to Ghana, Haiti, Dominican Republic, Uganda, and Congo. Dr. Davis began his residency in 2009 and is scheduled to complete the program in 2016. He plans to pursue a career in academic vascular neurosurgery and hopes to continue his international outreach efforts as well.
Brandon also enjoys hiking, biking, and snowboarding.
