MAYSHAN GHIASSI, MD,
is currently a sixth year neurosurgery resident at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. He received his bachelor’s in Neuroscience from Vanderbilt University. He obtained a fellowship at the NIH studying Transforming Growth Factor Beta mediated tumorigenesis. Upon completion of his fellowship, Dr. Ghiassi pursued his M.D. at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. In 2012 he completed a 2 year fellowship in Endovascular Neurosurgery at Vanderbilt and is set to finish residency in 2014. He is interested in Cerebrovascular Neurosurgery and Minimally Invasive Spine.
Outside of work Mayshan enjoys travelling to foreign countries with his wife.
