VUMC Perfusion Program

Accreditation

The Perfusion Program at Vanderbilt University Medical Center is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP). Accreditation is granted only after recommendation by the Accreditation Committee for Perfusion Education (AC-PE) based on a programmatic review and site visit. Recognition by CAAHEP qualifies the School's graduates for eligibility to apply for and take the Perfusion Basic Sciences Examination administered by American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion (ABCP).
